Chipola Indians vs. GRCC Raiders
Game 1 – Chipola 14, GRCC 4
The Chipola Indians 2026 opened the weekend with a 14–4 victory behind a big day from
Nick Croce, who drove in four runs, highlighted by a grand slam in the sixth inning.
Chipola struck first in the bottom of the first as Colin Guerra lifted a sacrifice fly and Kane
Moye homered to right field. After GRCC briefly took a 3–2 lead, Chipola responded in the
fourth when an error brought home a run and Derek Gonzalez launched a three-run homer.
Michael Mullinax added a two-run home run in the fifth.
On the mound, Clinton Harris earned the win in relief after a strong start from Drew Colon.
Game 2 – Chipola 31, GRCC 0
Chipola erupted for 31 runs in a dominant shutout performance. Nick Croce powered the
offense with two home runs and seven RBIs, while Derek Gonzalez added a three-run blast.
The Indians sent 14 runs across in the first inning, fueled by hits from Tyler Correa, Seven
in the third inning, highlighted by a grand slam from Nick Croce and a two-run homer from
Game 3 – Chipola 22, GRCC 2
Sunday's opener featured another explosive offensive showing as Kane Moye hit two home
runs and drove in five runs.
Chipola jumped ahead early with home runs from Jeremiah Gary, Tyler Correa, and Derek
Gonzalez. A 14-run third inning broke the game open, as Jeremiah Gary delivered a three-run
double and Kane Moye capped the frame with a two-run home run.
Baldepina combined for scoreless relief innings.
Game 4 – Chipola 13, GRCC 9
The weekend concluded with a hard-fought 13–9 comeback victory led by Hudson Gilman,
who drove in four runs on four hits, including a three-run home run in the sixth inning.
Chipola built an early lead behind hits from Seven Alemais, Hudson Gilman, and Peryn
Bland, but GRCC answered with eight runs in the second inning. The Indians responded in the
third as Tyler Correa tripled home the go-ahead run.
On the mound, Ashton Alston earned the win, Brady Brock picked up the save, and Asher
Sabom delivered two scoreless innings in relief.
