Bio
Evan Hylek enters his first season as Chipola College’s hitting and catching coach for the 2025–26 season under head coach Jeff Johnson.
Hylek comes to Chipola after three seasons at Wabash Valley College, where he served as an assistant coach, hitting coach, and recruiting coordinator. During his tenure, the Warriors captured consecutive GRAC and Region 24 Championships. In his first season, Wabash Valley also won the Midwest District Championship and finished as national runner-up at the NJCAA JUCO World Series.
Hylek has helped four catchers advance to NCAA Division I programs over the past three seasons.
Hylek played collegiately at Wabash Valley College, Ivy Tech Community College, and Lyon College and is a native of Crown Point, Indiana.
