Patterson Leads Lady Indians to Another Win

The Lady Indians move to 12-0 on the season after a 95-37 win over Florida State College of Jacksonville. 

The teams faced off in day two of the Florida Women's Shootout in Fort Myers. 

Dekeriya Patterson, a Fort Myers native, led the squad in scoring for a second-straight day with 23 points. Valerie Nesbitt scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Courtajia Sanders had 19 points and also had eight rebounds. Blessing Ejiofor recorded another double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds. 

The Lady Indians are back at home next weekend as they host a classic on December 7-8. The schedule is as follows:

Friday, Dec. 7:

  • 5PM: FSCJ vs. Tallahassee
  • 7PM: Chipola vs. Central Georgia

Saturday, Dec. 8:

  • Noon: Central Georgia vs. Tallahassee
  • 2PM: Chipola vs. FSCJ

Tickets are $5/adult, $2/12 and under. Chipola Appreciation Club members and students receive free entry.
