Indians Fall in Semifinal Game

The Indians fall 69-62 in tonight's semifinal game against Eastern Florida State.

Bitumba Baruti recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Keishawn Brewton scored 23 points.

Chipola shot only 34.8% in the contest and lost the battle on the boards.

"Good things never happen when you don't rebound the ball," said Coach Brendan Foley. "Eastern Florida is a good team and they got the best of us tonight."

"I'm still proud of my team and all they've accomplished this season. I hope we get a chance to play in Hutch," Foley continued.

The Indians fall to 27-5 on the year. They'll now wait to see if they're awarded an at-large bid to the NJCAA National Tournament, which will be announced on Monday.
