Indians Fall to St. John's River

Both teams were strong on the pitcher's mound on Friday, but St. John's River State was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Chipola College Indians Varsity on Friday. Cameron Gray started the game for Chipola College Indians Varsity and recorded 12 outs.

Halstead got the start for St. John's River State. He allowed five hits and two runs over five and a third innings, striking out five and walking zero.

Gray toed the rubber for Chipola College Indians Varsity. He surrendered three runs on six hits over four innings, striking out two. Andrew Moore threw three innings out of the bullpen

St. John's River State socked two home runs on the day. Nick Romano had a dinger in the third inning. Witt went yard in the fourth inning.

Connor Kehl led Chipola College Indians Varsity with two hits in three at bats.

Provitt went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead St. John's River State in hits.
