Chipola Wins 16-1

Andrew Bechtold collected four hits in four at bats, as Chipola Indians (22-4, 3-0) defeated Tallahassee 16-1 on Saturday. Bechtold doubled in the first, singled in the first, homered in the second, and doubled in the fourth.

Chipola grabbed an early lead. Chipola Indians scored on a home run by Jose Caballero, a double by Brody Wofford, a fielder's choice by Te'Kwaan Whyte, a stolen base by Chris Clayton, a home run by Jacob Silverstein, and a single by Andrew Bechtold in the first inning.

Ryan Shauger (3-1) earned the win for Chipola. He tossed four innings, surrendering one run, one hit, striking out four, and walking one.

Home runs for Chipola came when Caballero homered in the first inning, Silverstein homered in the first inning, Bechtold homered in the second inning, and Wofford homered in the fourth inning.
